Updated September 29, 2016: After literally years of trying to figure out how best to organize and present our airplane photos, I think we’ve finally come up with a solution. It’s About Airplanes is a new sub site of It’s About Travelling. From this point forward, the new site will be populated with all our great airliner images. Eventually, this page you are on will be moved there in a nice, neat and organized package.
Welcome to the latest on-going project at It’s About Travelling. The Airline Directory is a long, long way from being complete but will grow rapidly on a regular basis as we weed through the archives and make the images presentable.
This idea was born as a way to provide aviation fans with more images of their obsession. All images in this directory are taken by us. All images in this directory are open source and you may copy, share and use them as you wish. If you would like any particular image without the watermark, just email tom@itsabouttravelling.com.
If the registration number is hyperlinked, that means there are images uploaded of that particular airliner. Just click the link to get to that individual airplane’s page at It’s About Travelling.
Currently, the list is sorted alphabetically first by Airline then by Registration Number.
With a bit of change in direction, we’ve moved to covering individual airliners in a series of articles called ‘Plane View’. The old list of airplanes will remain but anything new will be in the form of these newer, more in depth and detailed articles – with great images, of course!
