B&B’s From Our Twitterverse

Time for another installment in our semi-regular ‘From Our Twitterverse’ series. This time, we’re looking at four different B&B’s from different corners of the globe that we’re mutual followers with on Twitter.

I have to admit, when I think of a Bed and Breakfast, I still have a hard time getting the image of Ward and June Cleaver out of my head. Except, Ward and June are driving a Mercedes, drinking 20 year single malt with their Harvard scarf draped across their shoulders.

Apparently, it’s not that way. And, apparently, it doesn’t cost a fortune to stay at a decent B&B in the heart of the some of the world’s most glamourous settings.

We have a pretty decent list of B&B’s within our world of Twitter and we were hoping to have a one on one article with a location in Italy ready to go. However, that has been delayed so we’re looking at Bed and Breakfast locations in New Zealand, Tuscany, Scotland and New Mexico.

These are general overviews with the simple plan of bringing these great locations to the readers of It’s About Travelling. We encourage you to visit each one’s official website for more information. In its own way, each of these Inns is located in the centre of some pretty dramatic scenery. Images included are courtesy of each B&B’s official website.

Tuscany B&B in Italy

tuscany bed and breakfast italyLocated in a 13th century historic building in Carmignano, a hill town just northwest of Florence, Italy, the Tuscany B&B is an affordable way to discover the Tuscany region. Within a short distance from Florence, Siena and Pisa, this serves as a great base of operations for anyone making the trip to Italy.

There are just two rooms at the location, named the Green Room and Red Room. One night will cost 70 Euros per person, including breakfast. For reference, one Canadian dollar equals around 0.71 Euros at the moment. Interestingly, there is a minimum stay of two nights. Making payment is unique in that they only accept PayPal or cash.
