I’ve entered four images in the 2012 Metro Photo Challenge and am hoping to solicit some votes from you, the reader.
The Metro Photo Challenge is a free to enter photography contest with various categories. What follows is the four images that I have entered. Part of the judging is based on votes (along with social media shares) and the other part is based on actual judges picking winners.

This image was taken over the summer of 2012 on Pigeon Lake, near Bobcaygeon, Ontario. The dock is at the Bell Haven Park & Resort where Angie’s parents have had a trailer for over a year now. The pain I went through via mosquitos to get this picture was incredible! This photo was entered in the ‘My Night’ category.
One of many shots taken along Dickson Brook at Fundy National Park. This is not the best image taken that day but the best was entered in a different contest. This photo was entered in the ‘My Favourite’ category.
An almost ominous view of the sunset over the Caribbean Sea off the northwest of Cuba. This shot is basically at the mouth of the Bay of Cienfuegos. This was taken in January, 2012 while staying at the Rancho Luna Resort. This image is entered in the category ‘Temptation’.
This was taken last October 10 at the Pine River Provincial Fishing Area, north of Primrose, Ontario. Primrose is north of Orangeville, east of Shelburne and west of Alliston. The Pine River is dammed up to create this small lake that is simply beautiful in the autumn. This image is entered in the category ‘My Country’s Best’.
