Another with a twist. Indeed, American Wedding was filmed at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay in 2003. However, in the movie, the resort was located on the shores of Lake Michigan and not in its true home along the Pacific Coast of California, not far south of San Francisco.
American Wedding was the third of four American Pie movies and starred Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan and Eugene Levy.
